In 2024, the Studio becomes a creative space for bold new ideas and experiments: a platform for young theatre professionals.
Giulia Giammona's work combines elements of opera, drama and dance to create visually powerful narratives. From 2017 to 2019, she was theatre director at the Bavarian State Opera, where she presented her first directorial works as part of the Festspielwerkstatt. She is now completing her directing studies at the Mozarteum in Salzburg with a production at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden. It will be an interdisciplinary musical work inspired by a mythological female figure: Judith.
