Über die Natur (Working Title)

Flexible formats, a collective working process and a curiosity for new things: these are the prerequisites for Konrad Amrhein's ongoing search for new artistic paths. During his training at the HfMDK in Frankfurt am Main and the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, he drew from all disciplines. For his graduation production, which he will develop together with members of the ensemble of the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden, he discovers the landscape as an independent actor in the play and questions a non-hierarchical world order. The focus shifts; the definition of human nature becomes blurred. Fields, rivers and forests move from the backstage area to the stage. The production thus forms a contemporary alternative concept parallel to Haydn's "The Creation" in the main theatre.
