Neeweißnicht und Rosenrot

Rosenrot tells us the story of her childhood and why there is a dwarf living in her garden. And, of course, why Neeweißnicht ends up knowing more than she thought. She marries Bärtram, a prince, who really still has a lot to learn. An exciting fairy tale in which the question arises again and again: Who does the world belong to and who is the bear, actually? Mechtild Nienaber retells the fairy tale of Snow White and Rose Red with a great deal of wit and wonderful characters, yet it remains true to the original.

"Neeweißnicht und Rosenrot" was awarded the Ikarus 2023 of the Youth Jury, an award from the Jugendkulturservice Berlin for outstanding theatre productions for children and young people.
