Kelly Panier

Kelly Panier was born in Brussels in 1996 and gained her first dance experience as a child in the Tap Show Company dance school run by her parents. There she took part in numerous workshops and training classes, gaining experience in ballet, jazz, acting, singing and tap dancing. She also took piano and drum lessons. At the age of 14, she moved to Louvain-la-Neuve and four years later completed her dance baccalaureate at the Lycée Martin V. She was subsequently accepted at the renowned Palucca University of Dance in Dresden, where she received her Bachelor's degree in 2017. She then played Alice in "Alice in Wonderland" at the Theater der jungen Welt in Leipzig and in 2018 became an ensemble member in the ballet of the Staatsoperette Dresden, where she performed in "Die Dreigroschenoper", "Die Csárdásfürstin" and "Maria de Buenos Aires", amongst others.

Kelly Panier has been studying musicals at the Folkwang University of the Arts since 2019. In 2021 she was part of the ensemble of the musical "She Loves Me" directed by Gil Mehmert, and also in 2022 as Hope Harcourt in the musical "Anything Goes", where she was also a tap choreographer under the direction of Sandra Wissman. In the summer of 2022 she also appeared in the role of Elisabeth and as part of the ensemble in "Goethe! - The Musical" at the Bad Hersfeld Festival.

This season, she graces the Wiesbaden stage as Young Sally in a new production of Stephen Sondheim's musical "Follies".
