Fatigue
Choreograpy by Viktor Szeri
Spring Forward 2024
Mood swings, slowed reflexes, dizziness: the various physical and psychological symptoms of burnout infiltrate unnoticed into everyday life. In a climate where work gives meaning to existence: what can an artist do? Nonstop production and the accumulation of projects are seen as key to our success, despite driving us towards burnout.
In this solo, Viktor Szeri builds a choreography on fatigue, on wanting nothing. He explores the limits and tolerance of his own body through the filter of burnout, while also experimenting with how the audience relates to this sedated vision.
