Niklas Roling

Niklas Roling hails from Nordhorn in Lower Saxony and has been involved in theatre from an early age. In 2017 and 2018, he received a Proskenion Foundation scholarship for musical study. After initially studying communications management for one semester, Niklas commenced his musical studies at the Conservatory of Performing Arts in Norderstedt, where he received lessons from Kati Heidebrecht, Martin Ruppel, Benjamin Fenker, Phil Kempster, Simone Voicu Pohl and many others. He later studied at the Institute of Music in Osnabrück, where he had already appeared in productions such as "Do it for love", "Die Kleinbürgerhochzeit" and "Das Geheimnis des Edwin Drood". In 2022, Niklas performed the male lead in the first German production of "Soho Cinders". In the spring of 2023, thanks to a scholarship from the KITABU Foundation, he also studied dance for 4 months at the Broadway Dance Center in New York and voice with Tyley Ross (NYU-Tisch School of the Arts).

This season, Niklas performs the role of Young Buddy in a new production of Stephen Sondheim's musical "Follies" at Staatstheater Wiesbaden.
