With "Hérétiques", Argentinian choreographer Ayelen Parolin invites the viewer to a contemporary ritual. With specially composed piano music, the piece is rooted in principles of repetition and endurance unfolding around the theme of the "triangle" and its endless variations. A trio consisting of two dancers and a pianist probe the pressures of efficiency and profitability inherent in today's society. Almost obsessive and mechanical, their precise, mathematical movements and geometric gestures oscillate between canon and unison in an extended crescendo, pushing them to test their very limits.

Ayelen Parolin is accompanied by Grand Studio. The residency is part of the "Passerelles avec Les Brigittines et La Briqueterie" project.
