Timelessness
Choreography by XIE Xin & Eyal Dadon
In the two-part evening "Timelessness", the Hessian State Ballet presents two contemporary choreographies. In "Timeless", Chinese choreographer XIE Xin explores human encounters and the immersion with our surroundings. Drawing on deep inner thought, calligraphy-like landscapes emerge, underscored by a newly commissioned work for string instrument and piano by Chinese composer Sylvian Wang. XIE Xin ist one of the most sought-after choreographers in Asia, maintaining a busy touring schedule with her own Xiexin Dance Theatre. During the 2018/19 season, she presented the guest production "From In" in the Kleines Haus and subsequently returned to develop the short piece "Special Moment" as part of the four-part dance evening "Shortcuts" in the Wartburg.
The second work will be choreographed by Eyal Dadon.
