»Tristan und Isolde« presents the love between two people in its most ecstatic form, perhaps like no other work in the operatic literature. But can such an all-encapsulating love as the one shared between Tristan and Isolde still exist in our society today? This is one of the questions director Uwe Eric Laufenberg tackles in his new production of this momentous work.
